Through infectious harmony and melody, Russian artist Kate Shilonosova makes joyful and adventurous pop music. It is also patient, playful deceptively simple but masterfully constructed, at times charming and bittersweet. Some points of influence include a pink-to-blue gradient Japanese 80s mallet-pop feeling and synth-wave tones, which Kate absorbs perfectly into her own bold musical identity. Monica Vlad designs and develops new media installations and spaces. She uses new technology as an artistic medium of expression and as a medium for the interactive and audio visual communication. The sound of her performances is mainly based on noise, ambient, experimental music, ranging from low to very high frequences that one can barely hear, from minimal to glitch, from analog to digital.

The Mexican media artist and musician GABRIELA GORDILLO deals with (musical) structures and the possibilities of their visual transformation and interpretation in many ways. The results include sound installations with electrically conductive ink that oscillate between noise and silence, interfaces based on visual influences for sound generation or vinyl records prepared with copper coating for the dismantling and reconstruction of musical pieces. Gordillo is part of the art and technology initiative Medialabmx and is currently studying Interface Cultures at the Art University Linz.

The Spanish noise duo MAGMADAM comes from Bilbao and brings an extreme noise storm to Linz. Itziar and Miriam use field recordings, locally recorded sounds, percussion instruments, synthesizers and multi-effect devices and mix this with their screaming voices and twitching bodies. A permanent disturbance of sound and image is part of the concept in her performances.
