Full use of physical strength and self-built analog beats turn the young American – who knows for sure what a C‑60 is – to a musician with unusual behavior in a digital children’s room shot to pieces. The history of electronic music, sampled and restructured with US-american Cut-Up-Spirit, fueled by shoutings at the wall. (skug)

Flashback: On August 11th last year a swamp was arranged in the centre of Linz which has been examined on different usability in the context of art meanwhile. Concerts on a custom-built constructed moor stage, screenings and lectures on subjects regarding swamps, auditive experiments or herbal cultivation attempts could be seen and heard.

One year after the ceremonial opening of the SWAMP THING qujOchÖ invites you to the SWAMP THING WELLNESS EVENING. Meditative sound trips by 2MS20 feat. AUDIOBOMBER (AUT) meet the world premiere of BRIAN ENO’S (GB) “Music for Swamp Things”. Also on display there is a documentation on mushroom experiments in the moor, everything garnished with exotic lettuce-avocado-cucumber-drinks, mind-and-body-enhancing knickknack and a limited edition of the own wellness mud pack, filled in proper style into glass jars.

Relax & get some moor …

Urban Gardening projects are booming. Participatory urban greening as far as the eye can see, urban agriculture and sustainability are on everyone’s lips. Without a doubt, once maintained in hippie communes ideals as rural self-sufficiency, it nowadays has become fancy in city centres too.

qujOchÖ expands the subject and contrasted the discourse about the green reconquest of meta hemer anthropotopes with a “non-place” in the broadest sense: in the urban back yard of quitch in Linz an artificial bog-swamp thing as experimentation field has been created. Apart from various plantbreeding-experiments and studying the acoustic properties, the Swamp Thing is used as a stage for lectures, concerts and screenings.
