qujOchÖ ist dieses Jahr mit einem Nagelstudio der SOKO IBIZA beim Ball vor Ort. Wir erinnern uns zurück: Kurz vor der EU-Wahl taucht ein Video aus dem Sommer 2017 auf, in welchem sich Ex-FPÖ-Vizekanzler HC Strache und sein Adjutant Johann “Joschi” Gudenus mit einer vermeintlichen russischen Investorin über Staatsaufträge für millionenschwere Spenden unterhalten. Eine High-Society-Finca auf Ibiza, Zigaretten, Red Bull, Wodka und andere Substanzen, dazu widerwärtige, dummdreiste und verbrecherische Gestalten, sind die Zutaten für einen Korruptions-Skandal der Sonderklasse. Dann geht alles zack — zack — zack: Rücktritt, Tränen, Rückzug. Das Ende der türkis-blauen Horror-Regierung. Nachdem die von qujOchÖ eingesetzte Sonderkommissionseinheit bei einer Razzia das iPhone von Ex-Vizekanzlers HC Strache in seiner Klosterneuburger Mietvilla beschlagnahmt, ist die Überraschung groß. Denn das vom überraschten und halb nackten Strache offen — also unversperrt — übergebene Handy erweist sich als wahre Fundgrube. Besonders ein Foto erregt die Aufmerksamkeit der ermittelnden Behörden. Es zeigt einen großen Zehennagel, der neben einem blauen Kondom auf einer grauen Couch liegt. Mittels modernster digitaler 3D-Replikationsverfahren fertigt die SOKO IBIZA daraufhin ein exaktes Ebenbild des Zehennagels an. Beim 5. WurstvomHundBall macht sich qujOchÖ nun auf die Suche nach der mysteriösen russischen Investorin, denn seien wir uns ehrlich: Wo, wenn nicht hier, gibt es eine realistische Chance, auf sie und ihren Zehennagel zu treffen? Zwick — zwick — zwick.

The WurstvomHundBall will enter its fifth round in 2020. As a colourful alternative to the right-wing Burschenbundball, the event sets an example of inclusion and participation. This time the participants will include Guarana, Beat Poetry Club, Bronco Jedson & Mi???tyria, Fearleaders, DJ Tonica Hunter, DJ Caorli, DJ Walter G Spot and many others.

The ball is supported by the free scene initiatives Stadtwerkstatt, Backlab, KAPU, Schlot and qujOchÖ as well as numerous committed people who, for one night, make the diversity in our society glitter.

qujOchÖ will be present at the ball this year with the SOKO IBIZA nail studio. We remember: Shortly before the EU elections a video from the summer of 2017 appears in which former FPÖ Vice Chancellor HC Strache and his adjutant Johann “Joschi” Gudenus talk with a supposed Russian investor about government contracts for multi-million dollar donations. A high-society finca on Ibiza, cigarettes, Red Bull, vodka and other substances, along with disgusting, stupid and criminal figures, are the ingredients for a corruption scandal of the highest order. Then everything goes zack — zack — zack: resignation, tears, withdrawal. The end of the turquoise-blue horror government. After the special commission unit set up by qujOchÖ confiscated the iPhone of ex-vice chancellor HC Strache in his Klosterneuburg rented villa during a raid, the surprise is big. The mobile phone handed over by the surprised and half-naked Strache — i.e. unobstructed — turns out to be a real treasure box. One photo in particular attracts the attention of the investigating authorities. It shows a large toenail lying next to a blue condom on a grey couch. SOKO IBIZA then uses state-of-the-art digital 3D replication methods to produce an exact replica of the toenail. At the 5th WurstvomHundBall qujOchÖ is now on the lookout for the mysterious Russian investor, because let’s face it: where, if not here, is there a realistic chance to meet her and her toenail? Pinch — pinch — pinch.

Austria is currently being rebuilt. From a new government that oppresses individual groups in society to enforce its neoliberal policy of redistribution. We are all losers — especially refugees, poor or unemployed people, but also women’s projects and workers’ rights have been cut.

At the WurstvomHundBall, we are sending a signal of joie de vivre against the social indifference in the country. We are not afraid of diversity. We are not afraid of equality. And we are not afraid of the right-wing-movement itself. We want a pluralistic, modern society, we are against isolation and hatred, we stand up for inclusion. We want a policy with attitude, not a policy of exclusion, agitation and perfidy.

That is what we stand for, that is what we celebrate. And we also take decisive action: As in previous years, the net proceeds of the WurstvomHundBall will be donated to the Linz based NGO “SOS Menschenrechte” for their work in the care of refugees.

On the same evening, a demonstration will be held in Linz against the Burschenbundball which is a symbol of right-wing and sexist politics. In order to ensure that the dressing up will pay off, we walk the streets together in the BEAUTIFUL BLOCK to show our attitude before attending the WurstvomHundBall.

Many art and cultural initiatives, which have been united since 2016 for this successful alternative to the right-wing Burschenbundball, are pooling their energies for the golden festival of diversity. With exquisite stage acts like Yasmo & the Klangkantine, PÆNDA, EUGENES ELECTRIC TRASHMACHINE, Jakob Bouchal and Yung Tentik’s DJ Team and the sparkling support program, once again a sign against fear and hate is set.

The net proceeds of the event will be donated to SOS-Menschenrechte.
